Alex Pereira will have to overcome underdog status at UFC 320 if he hopes to reclaim gold from Magomed Ankalaev.

Magomed Ankalaev plans to put a definitive end to his rivalry with Alex Pereira now that their rematch has finally been announced. The pair first met at UFC 313 last year, where Ankalaev ended Pereira’s reign as light heavyweight champion when he took a unanimous decision victory over the fan favorite.

The UFC announced a few massive bouts that will go down shortly, including a rematch for the light heavyweight title between champion Magomed Ankalaev versus challenger Alex Pereira at UFC 320 and Tom Aspinall's first-ever heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321.
