The Storm Prediction Center has made a fairly large addition to the level 2 risk of severe thunderstorms. This addition is mostly focused on Lower Michigan.

More thunderstorms are on the way to kick off the weekend, all while humidity levels remain high across our neighborhoods.
The line of thunderstorms once it becomes severe can be called a squall-line. This squall-line is expected to roll across all of the Upper Peninsula this evening. The line of storms should start at the west end of the U.P. early this evening and make it to the east end of the U.P. by midnight tonight.
