Arkansas State Police Col. Mike Hagar was joined by officials on Thursday to provide updates on the Wednesday arrest of Andrew James McGann in connection with the double stabbing deaths in Devil’s Den State Park on Saturday.

Andrew James McGann, 28, is accused of murdering Clinton and Cristen Brink during a family hike in Devil’s Den State Park. Arkansas authorities say McGann had no connection to the couple and describe the double murder as a “completely random” act of violence.
