Following Trump's lead, organizations including Walmart, Lowe’s and Meta, have announced they would scale back their commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

Amazon has removed any references to diversity and inclusion from its most recent annual report. Tech companies have been moving swiftly away from DEI policies since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Amazon eliminated a reference to “inclusion and diversity” in its annual report filed Thursday, after it told employees in a December memo that it was winding down such programs as part of corporate America’s broader retreat from such policies.
