In a game between two great teams, an early mistake put Delta in a hole it couldn't escape from in the 3A baseball semi-state semifinal Saturday.

Over the last few weeks, Texas Longhorns baseball has stayed busy building for the future. That continued on Saturday as the pitching staff got some help. The Longhorns landed a commitment from one of the top right-handed pitchers in the 2026 class, Hayes Holton.

All eyes will be on the LSU Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha (Neb.) for a critical College World Series showdown. LSU is back in Omaha for the second time in three seasons with the program looking to utilize its experience heading into the weekend.

After district semifinal losses the last two years, Traverse City St. Francis claimed the Division 3 baseball state title on Saturday with a win over Marine City.

EAST LANSING, MI –– The Forest Hills Eastern baseball team are champions. They secured their place with a 5-2 win over Standish-Sterling on Saturday, June 14 at McLane Stadium in the MHSAA D2 state final. As the last out was recorded, the team swarmed to the pitcher’s mound.
