Birmingham Airport temporarily closed its runway for six-hours following an aircraft making an emergency landing today, Wednesday, August 6. BHX apologised for the inconvenience this caused passengers. It led to the cancellation of more than 25 flights, the diversion of a number of aircrafts and the delay of a string of others.
