Jay Monahan is leaving the PGA Tour next year after a decade that ends with a league fractured by the Saudi riches of LIV Golf, turning it over to top NFL executive Brian Rolapp in a new role as CEO.

But Brian Rolapp's title will remain vacant. Per multiple reports, Commissioner Roger Goodell will not replace Rolapp, who had served since 2014 as chief media and business officer for the NFL. As explained by Brian Fischer of Sports Business Journal,
