Mourners are paying their respects to former U.S. Rep. Charles Rangel as his body lies in state at New York City Hall.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and former President Bill Clinton were among those who spoke about the late congressman at St. Patrick's Cathedral. CBS News New York's Doug Williams reports.

It’s a rare privilege to lie in state here at City Hall. Only a handful of people have been accorded that honor over the years, including Ulysses S. Grant and Abraham Lincoln 160 years ago. Now, the flag-draped casket of Congressman Charlie Rangel rests in that same rotunda at City Hall.
