Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor said her side are "sad and frustrated" at their Champions League exit following their consecutive 4-1 defeats to Barcelona in the semifinal.

They exited the competition with a whimper at Stamford Bridge. Up against it from kick-off as they faced a three-goal deficit from the first leg, Chelsea shipped a further four goals to close a promising campaign on a miserable note, Wieke Kaptein’s injury-time effort providing scant consolation.
