The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued a yellow alert from Tuesday, November 12, to November 15, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall in Chennai and 15 other districts of Tamil Nadu. Initially, Chennai officials indicated that schools would operate as usual; however, the decision was reversed within 30 minutes due to the intensity of the rainfall and the forecast for showers.
