The Chicago Fire unveiled plans to build a privately funded, soccer-specific stadium along the Chicago River on Tuesday.

Morningstar founder Joe Mansueto chose to build his own stadium at The 78 in part because it's the political path of least resistance, though it will require tens of millions in subsidies for utilities to prep the site.
