China's joyful embrace of DeepSeek has gone one step deeper - extending to TVs, fridges and robot vacuum cleaners with a slew of home appliance brands announcing that their products will feature the startup's artificial intelligence models.

DeepSeek has reopened access to its core programming interface after nearly a three-week suspension, resuming a service key to wider adoption of an AI model that’s proven remarkably popular since its emergence last month.

AI models from the startup DeepSeek have entered home appliances. DeepSeek technology has been integrated into products such as TVs, refrigerators, and robot vacuum cleaners and is now available for sale.

These include companies such as Haier, Hisense and TCL Electronics, along with even automakers and tech heavyweights like Huawei and Tencent.
