Donkey Kong Bananza Credits Confirm DK's New Voice Actor — and There's a Fresh Voice for Pauline Too
Donkey Kong Bananza is out today, and the game's credits have now confirmed Nintendo's main new voice actor behind Donkey Kong. Unusually for a Nintendo game, Bananza's credits list out each of the game's voice actors with their specific roles — and right at the top is Kouji Takeda,
Kenta Motokura, who was the director of Super Mario Odyssey has been revealed as one of the game’s producers. Donkey Kong Bananza is being directed by Kazuya Takahashi. Takahashi joined Nintendo in 2020, having previously worked on other open world titles.
If you think that name sounds familiar, that's because Takeda has also provided the voice of Donkey Kong in the Japanese dub of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, as well as the Japanese voice of Daruk in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, to name just two.
