A two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning by Sam Harris lifted the Duke Blue Devils past the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 3-2, in the Athens Regional title game Sunday night.

Oklahoma State baseball will have to win four games in three days to extend its season after a 12-5 loss to Duke in the NCAA regional opener.

Duke could not get its bats going Sunday against Oklahoma State, going scoreless through the first seven innings. The Blue Devils also held the Cowboys in check, though, and a three-run eighth was just enough for Duke to squeak by with a 3-2 win.
