Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported in error and returned to the U.S. last week, appeared in court to face human trafficking charges in Nashville.

Alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia faces federal prosecution for human trafficking following his contested deportation to El Salvador and court-ordered return to the U.S.

The federal judge did not make a decision during the arraignment. Instead, a written opinion will be given soon.
