AC Milan are reportedly closing in on a verbal agreement with Luka Modric to bring the Real Madrid legend to Serie A next season. Modric, who is set to depart from Real Madrid after this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup,

The Rossonieri appointed Allegri as their new head coach earlier this week as they look to return to the pinnacle of the Italian game, and Spanish outlet Diario AS reports Modric was among the first players he requested. The Croatian has been offered a one-year deal worth about £3million, with an option to extend for a second season.
