Walt Disney Studios releases another live-action adaptation of one of its animated films with "Lilo & Stitch."

The new film is now showing in UK cinemas, and the cast includes some big names, some new faces and some stars of the original animation.

Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" remake is flawed but sweet, with great performances by Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, and Stitch himself.

Ahead of its wider release, set for 23 May, reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with Daniel Baptista of The Movie Podcast calling the film the "biggest surprise" of the year. "#LiloAndStitch is the BIGGEST SURPRISE of the year and easily the BEST Disney live action remake yet," he wrote on Twitter/X.
