The MLB has had a major renaissance thanks to the rule changes and two of the biggest stars playing for the Dodgers and Yankees. Ohtani, though, reigns supreme.
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne and New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge were among the stars walking the 2025 MLB All-Star red carpet ahead of Tuesday night's All-Star Game.
The Dodgers and the Yankees met in the 2024 World Series in what should have been a competitive contest, if not for the fifth inning in Game 5, when an uncommon Judge error kicked off a parade of blunders for New York.
During a contentious game the Padres won 5-3 on June 19, Suarez hit Ohtani in the shoulder with a 100-mph fastball. He was immediately thrown out of the game, and eventually suspended for two games. After he was hit, Ohtani waved off his dugout, telling them not to enter the field and confront the Padres.
