A South Carolina mother and son have pleaded guilty to beating a man to death. On Monday, Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced that 42-year-old Samantha Watts and 18-year-old Payton Watts, of Green Sea, both pleaded guilty on Thursday and were sentenced to prison on Monday for the murder of a Chadbourn man.
