Tim Stutzle scored and added an assist to keep his 11-game point streak alive, Brady Tkachuk and Shane Pinto returned to the lineup and scored, and the Ottawa Senators ended a five-game losing streak with a 5-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night.

The puck then went to the front of an open Sharks net, after goalie Vitek Vanecek left his crease to play the Pinto pass. That left an open net for Tim Stützle, who 19th of the season, giving the Senators the lead for good as they handed the Sharks a 5-3 loss at Canadian Tire Centre.

The Ottawa Senators ended their five-game losing streak on Saturday night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 5-3 at Canadian Tire Centre. Tim Stützle led the way with a goal and an assist in a critically important four-goal third period.
