Baylor's VJ Edgecombe looks a lot like the players you see on the court in this year’s NBA Finals, if not in form then in spirit. He could be a solid pick if the Sixers don't move up in the draft.
We’ve made it through the lottery in our At The Hive Community Mock Draft. The Charlotte Hornets selected VJ Edgecombe with the hopes that he’ll boost the defense and add a downhill complement to LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.

Per tradition, the projected upper-tier of draft picks, among them prospective Mavericks’ No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg, will be in the building at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Thirteen players in total have reportedly been invited to the NBA draft green room.

If that’s the case, they might want to target Baylor’s V.J. Edgecombe. On top of his two-way potential, it seems like he grew up rooting for the Heat, or at least digging deep into their tape to mold his game.
