You’re going to have to head to movie theaters to watch the Avatar: Fire and Ash trailer. Is this the beginning of a new trend?

In a post on the official “Avatar” X account, it was revealed that the first trailer for James Cameron’s “Avatar” threequel will screen exclusively in theaters before showings of Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.”

Avatar (2009) is the highest-grossing movie ever, while its sequel Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) comes in at third place. Next up in the franchise is Fire and Ash, which arrives in theaters later this year.
