Following the recent arrest of a former Longmeadow Public Schools librarian, Western Mass News is getting answers on how residents can better protect the youth from child predators.

In a public letter shared with 22News, Thomas M. King, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance and Longmeadow resident, called the case “troubling and deeply upsetting.” He emphasized that protecting children begins with reporting suspected abuse.
