Project Keenan was leaked in March and was reported to be a partner device with some sort of Xbox branding, green highlights, and an Xbox Guide Button.
And with Microsoft traditionally hosting its major summer showcase event in June, we'd put serious money on the Xbox "Project Kennan" handheld being formally announced at that time.
Project Kennan, along with the ROG Ally 2, will be devices running Windows 10, with Microsoft slated to fully unveil gaming-oriented features at Build 2025, which is set to take place on May 19.
Project Kennan was the codename for this particular third-party handheld, which is being made with a separate OEM partner and not manufactured or produced by Microsoft themselves.
Windows Central reports that Project Kennan is “essentially finished” in terms of hardware, with the software component receiving a “significantly boosted effort” from Microsoft’s Xbox ...
It was said that this project would be a joint venture with an unnamed PC gaming OEM. More information about this handheld has now emerged, revealing the OEM and a few other notable details.
