Superman director James Gunn has reacted to the success of the new DCU movie after a massive opening weekend at the box office. The film has also garnered largely positive reviews from critics. The cast features David Corenswet in the titular role, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and more.
"Superman is just the first step. Over the next year alone, DC Studios will introduce the films Supergirl and Clayface in theaters and the series Lanterns on HBO Max, all part of a bold ten-year plan," added Warner Bros.
