The Dallas Mavericks suffered another huge blow when Kyrie Irving tore his ACL while playing against the Sacramento Kings. The point guard tried to drive to the rim when he fell hard after going against DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valančiūnas.
Unfortunately, Irving lost his balance and landed awkwardly. After hitting his free throws, the former Duke point guard left the game, never to return. Turns out, Irving suffered a torn ACL, ending his year and putting his 2025-26 season at risk.
Irving averaged a league-high 39.3 minutes over his last 10 games entering Monday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings.
