Trey Murphy III scored 24 points and the host New Orleans Pelicans overcame a double-digit deficit to beat the San Antonio Spurs for the second consecutive game, 109-103, on Tuesday night.
The Spurs were led by Devin Vassell, who seems to have ended his slump with a 20-point outing. The Spurs shot only 29.5 percent from 3-point range and were outrebounded by five boards. It's very clear that they could use a 7-4 sharpshooter, but they will have to wait until next season.
