New York, New Jersey and Connecticut could get a plowable snowfall Sunday as a winter storm moves through the region.

New York City emergency officials have issued a “Cold Weather Alert” amid a stretch of below-freezing wind chills that will only get colder into next week. The coldest air of the season so far will crash into the tri-state on starting early next week with “feels like” temperatures Tuesday dropping as low as -7 degrees.

New York City Must-See Week runs from January 21 through February 9, with over 60 participating attractions across the five boroughs offering two-for-one tickets.

New York City will experience temperatures in the 40s and 30s this weekend, dropping to a low of about 19 degrees Sunday night. There is also a chance of rain and up to 4 inches of snow in the coming days.
