As Josh Johnson slides into the host chair at "The Daily Show" this week, he's riding a viral wave for his stand-up set focused on healing loneliness among men.

Comedy Central announced Josh Johnson will join the News Team hosting rotation at "The Daily Show." Johnson makes his debut at the iconic desk on Tuesday.

Johnson is a stand up comedian in addition to being a former writer and performer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He joined The Daily Show as a writer in 2017, racking up multiple Emmy nominations as part of the show’s writing staff.
