Hulk Hogan's cause of death has been revealed after the WWE star's passing on Thursday, July 24 at age 71. He died of acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack, PEOPLE confirmed on Thursday,

According to a cremation approval summary report from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Hogan died from acute myocardial infarction, or what is commonly referred to as a heart attack. His death was ruled the result of natural causes and was certified by his personal physician.

Hulk Hogan, 71, was pronounced dead at a hospital less than 90 minutes after medics arrived at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
