Jackson Holliday is one of the most promising young players in the big leagues. So far this season, he has batted .259 with 12 home runs and 38 RBIs for the Baltimore Orioles.

Holliday was first called up to the big leagues on April 10, 2024, and then optioned back to Triple-A on April 26, 2024. But three months later, in July, he was recalled, and has shown no signs of needing to return to the minors.

The Washington Nationals might not take Ethan Holliday atop the MLB Draft after all. Doing so would rob Jackson Holliday and Orioles fans of the beltway rivalry they deserve.
