Kafrene, or the Ring of Kafrene, is a trading outpost located in the middle of the Kafrene asteroid belt and is where we are first introduced to Cassian Andor and his contact Tivik in Rogue One.
When we catch back up with Andor in Rogue One, he’s on the Ring of Kafrene, a trading outpost.
In Andor Season 2, episode 12, Cassian receives a message directing him to the Ring of Kafrene to meet Tivik. The message follows intel passed through Kleya about a secret Imperial project.
