Pili, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 draft out of Utah, signed a three-year deal with the Lynx in April that year. In 15 games this season, she averaged 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.9 minutes.

The Minnesota Lynx made incredible WNBA history following their 91-82 win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night. But the Lynx went scoreless the rest of the way, going 0 for 3 from the field from that point, while also committing three turnovers. It was very un-Lynx like for a team that’s been so sound down the stretch of games over the first half of the season.
