While Oklahoma took the first game with a 5-1 win, Alabama pitcher Jocelyn Briski held the Sooners offense to two hits and one run off a solo home run, while the Crimson Tide secured the 6-1 victory with seven hits and two home runs by Kari Heivilin and Abby Duchscherer.

Alabama now needs two wins in two days against the Sooners, who have won four straight national championships, or its season ends. First pitch for Game 2 of the super regional between Alabama and Oklahoma is scheduled for 2 p.
