Military police and local law enforcement responded to reports of “a potential active shooter” at Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, Thursday, though the threat appeared to be unfounded, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said.

NAS Pensacola has officially called the “all clear” and has lifted the lockdown, which was in place after law enforcement officials received two calls regarding shots fired onboard Corry Station Thursday morning.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of shots fired at about 10 a.m. CT at Corry Station, a sub-instillation at the Navy base, WEAR and WALA reported. Corry Station houses one of the Navy’s Information Warfare Corps Training Command, one of four such commands.
