The complaint against Virat Kohli will be reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation into the event and taken into consideration under the current case, according to police, who were quoted by news agency ANI.

In his complaint, social activist HM Venkatesh held Virat Kohli responsible for the stampede. No FIR has been registered on his complaint yet.

The complaint was lodged by HM Venkatesh, a resident of Karnataka's Shivamogga district, at Bengaluru's Cubbon Park police station, which is near to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
