Sam Surridge, currently tied atop the MLS Golden Boot race, opened the scoring for the MLS All-Stars against Liga MX All-Stars on July 23.

Sam Surridge, Tai Baribo and Brian White scored goals and Major League Soccer defeated Liga MX of Mexico 3-1 in the MLS All-Star Game.

The MLS All-Stars picked up a commanding 3-1 win over their Liga MX counterparts on Wednesday night in the MLS All-Star Game at Q2 Stadium in Austin. That avenged their blowout 4-1 loss in last year’s event, and wrapped up the league’s mid-season break.
