Nikola Jokic is reportedly expected to take to the court on Thursday as Serbia faces Slovenia in a preparation game ahead of the EuroBasket tournament.

Los Angeles Lakers fans can breathe a sigh of relief, because Luka Dončić is alright. Dončić was reportedly cleared to play for Slovenia on Tuesday, according to NBA insider Marc Stein.

Luka finished with 28 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one block in 28 minutes as Slovenia picked up a 93-81 victory over Great Britain in their latest exhibition on Tuesday. It was Slovenia’s first victory during this exhibition run as they gear up for EuroBasket, which kicks off on Aug. 28.

Luka Doncic was visibly frustrated with himself after the Lakers star missed a rebound opportunity in EuroBasket against Great Britain.

ESPN's Neil Paine listed the top 10 players at EuroBasket 2025, one of which was Houston Rockets All-Star Alperen Sengun. The star center represents Turkey, ranking fifth behind Jokic, Antetokounmpo, Doncic, and Franz Wagner (Germany).

While Doncic limped back to the locker room after this, he was diagnosed with just a knee contusion, reports Marc Stein. Doncic will return to practice with the Slovenian team on Monday as they gear up for the start of EuroBasket at the end of the month, adds Dan Woike of The Athletic.
