Austin Cindric earned a wreath of flowers and a measure of redemption in winning Sunday's Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Cindric led 166 laps in half of the season’s first 10 races and was the top lap leader in this year’s Daytona 500 with 59. In Sunday’s Talladega race, he only led seven laps, and he exchanged the lead with Ryan Preece five times in the final six laps. Overall, there were 67 lead changes among 23 drivers at the 2.66-mile track.
