Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye ensured that Everton's final fixture at their iconic Goodison Park stadium was a rousing victory with two goals to dispatch Southampton and close the book on one of the most historic grounds in the sport's history.

Everton has said goodbye to Goodison Park, its home of 133 years, with a 2-0 win over Southampton in the Premier League in front of dozens of the club’s greatest players and a tearful, scarf-waving crowd.

Iliman Ndiaye scored the last goals at Goodison Park – and then asked the referee for the matchball due to the significance of the occasion. Everton’s men’s team signed off from their famous old ground with a 2-0 win over Southampton.
