Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was swiftly taken into ICE custody following his pathetic performance against Jake Paul in June, and the U.S. government took swift action to see him sent back to Mexico without much delay in order to have him face Mexican prosecutors who believe he’s part of the Sinaloa Cartel.

A judge in Mexico says Mexican boxer Julio César Chávez Jr. will stand trial over alleged cartel ties but can await that trial outside of detention.
