Mathys Tel has sent a message of thanks away from Tottenham, after what he described as a "beautiful adventure".

Tottenham said Tel will sign a contract until 2031 when his current loan deal expires on June 30. He has played 20 games in all competitions for Spurs, scoring three goals.

Tel will hope to play a significant role under new manager Thomas Frank, who has now arrived at the club along with several of his backroom staff from Brentford. Frank could be followed to Spurs by Bryan Mbeumo, with the north London club emerging as contenders to sign the 25-year-old.
