Friday’s order from the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to stop work on the $1.5bn Revolution Wind project, which is 80 per cent complete, sent Ørsted ’s shares down 18 per cent in early trading on Monday to a record low of DKr175.

The world's biggest offshore wind farm developer Ørsted saw its shares dive into the double-digit losses as the company’s Revolution Wind project received a stop-work order from the US authorities. This comes at a testing moment for the company's finances.
