Moving into an all-night session early Thursday, House Republicans reconvened to push ahead on their multitrillion-dollar tax breaks package, with Speaker Mike Johnson defying the skeptics within his ranks and working to muscle President Donald Trump's priority bill to passage.

Republicans are pressing for a House vote this week on a sprawling domestic policy bill to enact President Trump’s agenda.

“There’s a long way to go,” said Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, who vowed the bill would not pass the House until those changes are formalized.
