NEW YORK – Speedy and versatile infielder Jose Caballero was traded to the Yankees late Thursday afternoon, moving all the way from the visiting dugout. During the Yankees’ afternoon game against the Tampa Bay Rays at the Stadium, Caballero learned he’d been dealt to the home side – receiving hugs and well wishes from his old teammates.

Jose Caballero left the game, said goodbye, and headed for the Yankees dugout opposite. Nothing personal, Sonny; it was strictly business.
